The "inhabitants"
The people occupy the vessels mostly consist of: LFT (Local Full-Timer) long term activists (elders), a group of "pirates" (group of revolutionary youngsters, mostly involved with recycling/upcycling, sailing and entertainment projects, and passer-by groups or individuals, who come around (or get sucked into) the Freetown (on pilgrimage) during their spiritual journey.
Since nearly all structures are made of recycling material or donations, the activists may have their own source of income outside the Aadheenam, and provide donations and assistance on mutual projects according to their opportunities, skills and level of development.
Some and many may take up responsibilities on events and groups in and around the Freetown, periodically providing volunteers for collectives such as: the Bathhouse, Operæn, Gallopperiet, Grønsagen, etc.
Some may provide or offer "spiritual teachings", such as fakyr show, puja, sadhana, offer "psychotherapy", CBT, or other kind of attention.
For short term we tend to host some of the most "lost souls" (who may get attracted to the idea of the "Freetown", but due to premature burn-out fall into nihilism) on their way to escape from the infinite freedom of the enlightened state - and motivate them to find out their own way as soon as possible. Maintaining a relatively safe and free mental space is extremely expensive and tiresome. Since most of us don´t get payed for it - yet -, humanly and mentally it is a really exhausting job.
Also, since we are constantly under "siege" of an ever-changing flow of massive alcoholics and other strange creatures, still waiting to be identified...
