I Csaba.
I am a social phenomenologist. I consider Dr. Andrew Feldmár as my - major -
teacher in psychotherapy and psychedelic therapy.
This is a
reaction to the letter attached, also - though our names, alongside with the
names of the boat we inhabit - it seems to be relevant to mention, that we have not received any official request, even
I personally have not found the quoted note on my own boat neither. From the
condition of some other notes, which ended in the water or fell off from the
place they have been "attached" to there is a possibility, that due
to irresponsibility it contributes the general negative view of the area. - Of
which, as this example shows, the inhabitants are not responsible for. We do
our best to keep the environment clean, and safe. Period. Still, we appreciate
that there is a showing of desire of communication instead of prejudice and
discrimination.
Originally
I came to Denmark first in 2010 with the intention of writing a study about
examples for different drug policies of 3 Eu countries. Prohibiting -
Hungarian, decriminalized - Czech, and Denmark as joker, since there was no
"wtf" category (Of which it comes to my mind: what are you guys doing
up there?), and implement it into my practice as a social worker (what I was
studying at that time) in Hungary.
This
letter is an answer of the official request(s) - been found on some or all of
the floats which appear to be the part(s) and start-ups of our "Floating
Aadheenam Project".
Give
thanks for the genuine interest, if the question was about what are we doing
here, why and what are we planning to do thorwards our
"legalization", we are more than glad to answer.
The word
"aadheenam" here refers to the spiritual village (in Indian
traditions), originally built around an ashram (learning center and place for
contemplation, spiritual discovery, and self-reflection).
In the
project itself there is nothing new, besides the people running it.
All the
material - boats, floats, rafts - were either already in the area, way before
the participants appeared to be here, or have been up- and re-cycled and built
into the already existing construction, with the best (un)professional
expertise of the volunteers/karma yogis (karma yogi is the person who is doing
righteous work without expecting reward. This aspect in some cases can be
challenging to interpret by our western, materialistic mindset, since we tend
to not to value what we don’t have to pay for).
Therefore
thank you again for such a request and such a genuine, honest interest and
impersonal request being manifested in such a peaceful way, even we -whom have
renounced our desire for comfort and materialistic abundance -, have recognized
that if we continue to do our righteous work and activity freely, than we will
just simply die, personally, one by one, marginalized and alone, while the
"general" part of the society would be more and more dependent on the
psychiatric institutions and incarcerations, than ever.
Although
with our - definitely radical - no sorry for that, it was not "us",
we just found everything like that and seen what you can´t. Here it is, you´re
welcome - contribution some more natural and traditional methods and practices
(as yoga and meditation) are being revived.
